A-1 Refrigeration Company has been established since 1937 and manufactures a line of ice machines, the A-1 Flake Ice Machine, which has a capacity range from 2,000 lbs. to 40,000 lbs. per 24 hours. Every evaporator carries the USDA approval and uses R-404a refrigerant. Units are completely self-contained, all weather protected and can be remotely mounted or steel skid mounted with condensing unit up to 6 ton capacity. Skid mounted units are factory wired, pre-piped and are ready for immediate installation. All ice producing parts of A-1 Flake Ice Machine are made of high grade stainless steel alloy and is standard on all models in our line, extending the overall life of the machine. Stainless steel parts included are evaporator drum surface, side cover and shafts, ice cutter, scrappers, discharge chute and water pan. Evaporator frame in all models are single welded fabrication and hot dipped galvanized for long corrosion free life. Standard evaporator panels are made of hardened anodized aluminum to prevent corrosion.
